As per xportsnews, the actress made the remarks during a recent video uploaded to her personal YouTube channel, where she spent time answering questions submitted by fans. The video, posted May 21, featured Moon casually interacting with viewers while sharing moments from what was described as a housewarming gathering.

During the Q&A segment, one fan asked Moon why she and Lee Joon-gi had allegedly broken up. The two actors previously starred together in the 2020 tvN thriller drama "Flower of Evil", where they played a married couple whose relationship becomes entangled in dark secrets and murder investigations.

Moon burst into laughter after reading the question and suggested the fan may have become deeply immersed in the storyline of the drama.

"It seems like a fan who was really immersed in the drama sent that," she said with a smile before clarifying, according to Naver. "I never broke up with Joon-gi oppa. Because we never dated," she added.

Her response quickly gained attention online, with fans praising the actress for addressing the rumor in a relaxed and humorous way. Speculation surrounding the pair's relationship had circulated among viewers since the success of Flower of Evil, which was praised for the strong chemistry between its lead actors.

Moon's latest comments come as the actress prepares for a major personal milestone. According to previous reports, she is set to marry her non-celebrity fiancé in June. News of her upcoming marriage drew widespread attention from fans and entertainment media across South Korea.

The actress has also recently expanded her connection with fans by launching a personal YouTube channel earlier this month. Moon has been posting many private and honest moments since opening the account on May 8th, providing her followers with a more personal view of her activities outside of acting.

Moon continues to be one of South Korea's best-known actresses because of her roles in various drama series and movies, and fans continue to get excited about her wedding and future acting roles.
