SHINee's Choi Minho's Character Transition From His Debut Film Up to Now

Choi Minho will play the role of Sung Pil, who is the ace of the student soldier troupe. The production team recently released another poster promoting the film and fans were excited to see the idol-actor wearing a soldier uniform and holding a real gun. 

But, before watching the film, let us look back at what are the character transition SHINee's Choi Minho undergo starting from his debut film up to now. 

1. Canola

     Canola is a 2016 South Korean film starring Kim Go Eun, Youn Yuh Jung, and Choi Minho. The actor played the role of Han-i who is a positive and bright high school student. Actor Minho's screen time might be very little, but he shows a lot of her cute side, will let you feel the moments when you are with the person you like. 

2. The Princess and the MatchMaker

     The Princess and the Matchmaker was a film starring Lee Seung Gi and Shim Eun Kyung. Choi Minho also joined the cast and portrayed the role of Seo Ga Yoon, Lee Seun Gi's role brother. This is the very first time that actor Choi Minho played the role of a person with a handicap which is blindness. This is also his first film that took place in the Joseon Era. Though it is only a short cameo, Minho left a good impression of his acting plus his good looks while wearing traditional Korean attire. 

3. Derailed

     "Derailed" is the first film of Choi Minho in 2016 where he is the main lead cast along with Ma Dong Seok and Da Eun. Choi Minho shows his bad guy side with this film, where he acted as Jin Il, a delinquent guy. In an interview, he even had to smoke a cigarette for it is part of the film and Minho also revealed that he had a hard time before fully quitting smoking after the filming.

4. Illang: The Wolf Brigade

From a delinquent guy, Choi Minho transforms into a soldier which had to wear a 30 Kg armor that has a valuable sense in the movie. The idol- actor played as Kim Cheol Jin, a right armed man of Jang Jin Tae also a part of the leading member of what they call Wolf Brigade.
