The story started when the lives of Do Chi Gwang(Han Suk Kyu), Kim Young Koon( Seo Kang Joon) and Han Tae Joo( Kim Hyun Joo) got destroyed by a tragic happening.

They then became members of an international affairs investigation team for the police and through that, they try to find out and dig out the truth behind the tragic affair that happened.

Do Chi Gwang plays an elite member of the police. His personality is thoughtful to others as well as an intelligent guy. He is also, in fact, very proud of his achievements for catching criminals.

Kim Young Koon is a police officer and a member of the mobile patrol officers. He may be having a duality of personality which is he may be cold outside, but he also has his soft side and is very warm and kind too when you come to know him.

Han Tae Joo is a popular lawyer. In her past, she works as a prosecutor, but due to some unexpected cases, her life was almost put in danger. For she doesn't want to risk her life, Han Tae Joo then decided to leave being a prosecutor and decided to become a lawyer instead.

The fate of these three main characters will get entangled and will only be loosened as they find out the reality between that unfortunate tragic affair.
