Jung Gun Joo to Appear in New Drama with SF9's Rowoon, Kim Hye Yoon, and APRIL's Naeun

This upcoming drama is inspired by a popular high school fantasy romance webtoon entitled "July Found By Chance." The plot twist is that she becomes aware that she is a supporting character in a romance manga titled "Secret," and she attempts to change the story for her life and significant other. 

The other students are also characters in a comic. Kim Hye Yoon will be playing the role of Eun Dan Oh.

Jung Gun Joo will appear in the said drama as Lee Do Hwa, who is a member of A3 and is in second high. He has a playful and cute personality, as well as a friendly nature, which makes it easy for him to form friendships with everyone. 

His handsome looks also grab the attention of the female students when he's simply walking on the streets or having a workout.

Moreover, Jung Gun Joo will be giving lots of bright smiles in the drama. However, behind his carefree and jolly appearance, Lee Do Hwa suffers from depression. Thus it appears that his character has a story that will surprise the viewers. 

Also, he will be in a love triangle between A3 leader named Oh Nam Joo, who is also his best friend, and Yeo Joo Da. Kim Young Dae will portray Oh Nam Joo, while APRIL's Naeun will act as Yeo Joo Da.

SF9's Rowoon, on the other hand, is the male lead actor with the name Haru/Number 13, which is the idol's first time to take such roles in a major drama. 

It is said that he will be drawing emotional lines in the story. Lee Jae Wook is also part of the program as Baek Kyung.

"A Day Found by Chance" is Jung Gun Joo's eighth drama where he plays as one of the casts, and his second time to be a support role, after his previous ten-episode story entitled "Fork You Boss 2" in 2018. 

Jung Gun Joo's first drama is "The Tuna and Dolphin" (special drama season 9) in 2018, followed by "Flower Ever After," "Should We Kiss First?" "The Third Charm," "WHY," and "The Best Ending."

Meanwhile, "A Day Found by Chance" is set to premiere in September this year, 2019, which will follow the slot of "Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung."
