"Mother of Mine" Team to Go on a Reward Vacation Together
The cast and staff of KBS 2TV's acclaimed weekend drama entitled "Mother of Mine" will be traveling overseas for a reward vacation!
"Mother of Mine" is a television series that presents the story of four mothers and daughters who have created both love and hate relationships with each other as a result of the war-like world of their harsh everyday life.
It is a drama that aims to deliver comfort to every mother and daughter, as well as to all the families across the globe.
In addition, the drama shows the changes that took place in the way how a mother and daughter relate to one another inside and outside of their home, and how mothers struggle just to be able to stay by our side.
Also, the drama conveys a message regarding the divorce rate, low fertility rate, and the obstacles of the younger generation who are preventing themselves from getting married.
With its highest-recorded viewership rating of 33.5 percent, nationwide, the drama appears completely to affect its viewers and has become highly renowned. And recently, it was announced that "Mother of Mine" will have a two-week extension, meaning the drama will end after 108 episodes.
The main actors of the program are Kim Hae Sook as Park Sun Ja, Kim So Yeon as Kang Mi Ri, Kim Ha Kyung as Kang Mi Hye, Park Geun Soo as Park Young Dal, Nam Tae Boo as Bang Jae Beom, and Choi Myoung Gil as Jeon In Sook. Other characters include Hong Jong Hyun, Myung Gye Nam, Yoo Sun, Joo Hyun, Park Jung Soo, Lee Won Jae, Joo Ye Rim, Ki Tae Young, Han Ki Woong, and lots more.
"Mother of Mine" premiered on March 23 this year, 2019, and airs every Saturday and Sunday from 7:55 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. KST. The latest episode broadcasted is the 88th last August 18. Episodes 89 and 90 are set to air on August 24. The drama is to conclude on September 22.
Meanwhile, "Mother of Mine" will be followed by a new drama titled "Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful" and is scheduled to premiere in late September.
