"My Country" is Set to Air on October 2019

JTBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, "My Country" starring Yang Se Jong is set to premiere in October! 

Yang Se Jong, Woo Do Hwan, AOA's Seolhyun, and Jang Hyuk were confirmed to join the casting of the Korean drama. 

The production team released a teaser and a sneak peak of what will be Yang Se Jong's role to the drama, introduce the actor's character as well as gave the viewers and supporters the atmosphere they should expect with the drama.

The drama also released a poster of Yang Se Jong with the tagline, 

"These are the people who lived when Joseon first began to stir."

The drama was directed by Director Kim Jin-Won and pen by Writer Chae Seung-Dae.

On the other hand, the production team talks more about the plot of the story and talks deeper about each character.

The series was set during the end of the Goryeo period to the early Joseon period. Then, two friends will suddenly have a fight due to their different views about "my country."

Seo Hwi (Yang Se-Jong) is the son of og  Seo Geom who is a famous commander. He is also a warrior and has this nationalist heart and affection for those who were experiencing injustice. He may experience a life full of a mess but he never loses the curves in his lips. 

Meanwhile, Nam Sun-Ho (Woo Do-Hwan) is an intelligent and talented person. But despite his perfect figure, he is always looked down for he is a son of a lowly class mother. 

He always dreamt of passing the military examination but due to his father's corruption scandal, their family was dragged into and making it worse, he comes into conflict with Seo Hwi over a misunderstanding.
