"The Fiery Priest" Wins At The 46th Korean Broadcasting Awards

Kim Nam Gil showed his impressive acting skills in his career in "The Fiery priest", discussing the mysterious death of an elderly priest was Kim Nam Gil portrayed and a detective Kim Sung Kyun who is a prosecutor and Lee Hanee plays the role as one of the individuals who join forces to solve the case. 

Park Na Rae won the Best Comedian last year and was awarded also for her contributions to "I Live Alone" as a host. While on the other hand, Yoo Min Sang won as the best comedian. For the best actor for the Korean drama "The Fiery Priest", the best actor was awarded to Kim Nam Gil, the winner for the best MC on MBC's "I Live Alone" was Park Na Rae, while the Best short or mid-length drama goes to SBS's The Fiery  Priest.

During the production of the series, the first script of reading took place last October 26, 2018, at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. It was scheduled to air every Mondays and Tuesdays drama that follows "My Strange Hero", but due to the network (SBS) deciding to cancel the weekend drama time slot that airs every Saturday nights on 21:05 KST, after the "Fates and Furies", it became the network's Fridays and Saturdays night drama. 

Afterward, the drama series "Haechi" was chosen to follow the drama "My Strange Hero". Aside from the latest award that was recognized for The Fiery Priest, it was also nominated during the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards and won the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards that falls down to the category of being the excellent Korean drama. 

Meanwhile, "The Fiery Priest" is the first SBS's Korean drama series that airs every Fridays and Saturdays at 22:00 KST that followed by the drama, "Nokdu Flower" last April 26, 2019. Congratulations to the production management and team that did a very good job until the end with their co-workers and the actors and actresses who gave their best.
