JTBC's "Camping Club" celebrated the 21st anniversary of Fin.K.L and they were able to meet their fans. Producing directors Ma Gun Young and Jung Seung Il shared their thoughts before the end of the show.
They said that they will always be thankful to the 4 members of Fin.K.L. They said that they do not get the chance to thank the viewers because they work at broadcast stations.
They never had the opportunity to tell them that it was an honorable experience. They felt proud when they received comments saying that they were immersed in the program and they felt different kinds of emotions.
According to the directors, a gap between how the real reunion happened and what the public wanted. What the people wanted was to see all the members of Fin.K.L reunite and perform after 14 years. They thought that this will not be possible.
They said that if they planned 'Camping Club' while preparing for the concert, the story would not be the same as how it actually unfolded. They planned for the 'Camping Club' without focusing on the concert. They worked on how the members who have their own paths now, can produce a concert.
The fans viewed the program differently from the first generation idols' reunions they saw. They felt that they became involved with the process too.
The directors revealed that they have no concrete plans when they were asked about the possibility that "Camping Club" will return with a new season. They said they thought about the director's cut and it will air next week.
They said that they are thinking of different options and wanted to do something else with Fin.K.L again. They are happy to work with the group.
They also hinted that they are hoping to work with Girls' Generation on a new season of "Camping Club." They said that they personally thought about this option and SNSD will be turning 30s next year.
Other members of Girls' Generation mentioned that they are always watching "Camping Club" through various interviews and social media. The directors are grateful for the group's passionate support for the show.
SNSD Fans are now wishing to see their idols next in "Camping Club".
