[When the Camellia Blooms] Lee Jeong-Eun Appeared as Gong Hyo-Jin's Mother, Reaching 12.9% Rating

Gong Hyo-Jin's awakening has begun. She stood up to sue Oh Jung-Se, signaling to pacify Ongsan. The rating for the episode reached a new record by hitting up to 12.9%.

According to Nielsen Korea, a rating research agency, KBS 2TV 'When the Camellia Blooms,' which aired on Oct. 3rd recorded 10.2% for the first part and 12.9% for the second part, respectively. 

Since the first episode with 6.3%, its rating has been gradually increased to take the first position among all Wednesday-Thursday dramas. SBS's 'Secret Boutique' recorded 5.4% for the first part of the show and 5.8% for the second and MBC's 'Extraordinary You' was only about 2.2% for the first half and 3.3% for the second. 

In today's episode, the life of Dong-Baek (Gong Hyo-Jin) was full of difficulties. After Yong-Sik's relentless pursuit, the suspicious-looking protagonist caught was none but Dong-Baek's mother Cho Jung-sook (Lee Jung-Eun).  She was the one who abandoned young Dong-Back that made her bow down under the prejudice of the world. It was such a great hurt to Dong-Baek who remembers what her mother had said at the moment of being abandoned. 

She pretended not to see her at the police station because she wanted to do the same as she had left, but her heart was not comfortable. Jung-sook's memory in dementia stopped at the time when Dong-Baek was a baby. Finally, she decided to take her mother to Camellia.

Although she could see her mother's past life as she swept and wiped the shop, checking her feeling, her heart was still annoying and upset. Yong-Sik also firmly pushed her. 

After understanding Deok-Soon(Go Doo-Shim)'s heart, Dong-Baek decided not to let him get involved in her hard life, which now even added up her mother who is an orphan and single mother with dementia. She said, "I can't be happy next to you, Yong-Sik." He also said, "my heart is not hard like a stone," and turned back sadly. 

In the epilogue, on the other hand, the resident registration card of the body that appeared in the first episode was found. Yong-Sik was shocked, "No! It can't be!" Who was the body found in Ongsan Lake?' When the Camellia Blooms' airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m.
