The movie "Forbidden Dream" Directed By Heo Jin-ho Released Behind-the-scenes Shots
"Forbidden Dream" is a film about the story of two characters: Sejong, one of the greatest kings in history, and Jang Young-sil, the greatest genius scientist of Sejong. This film depicts the hidden stories of Sejong (Han Seok-Gyu) and Jang Young-sil (Choi Min-Sik) who invented a variety of astronomical devices to be used in scientific observations.
This film is based on historical facts about why Joseon's best scientist Jang Young-sil disappeared from all historical records. Director Heo Jin-ho said, "The general viewers already have a lot of knowledge about Sejong so I thought a lot about how to showcase Sejong in a different light."
"Shooting the characters is already hard enough but shooting the scenes is tougher. The movie will show picturesque and wonderful sceneries viewers can look forward to," he added.
Lee Mo-gae camera director said "Sejong, who portrays delicate emotions was mainly photographed using close-ups, while Jang Young-sil used full shots.
Meanwhile, the "Forbidden Dream" will be released on December 26.
