Singer and actress Kim Se-jeong has once again stepped up in times of crisis by donating 10 million won (about $7,200 USD) to help victims of recent heavy rains and flooding in South Korea.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced the donation on Friday. They stated that Kim's generous contribution would go toward emergency relief and support for those who have suffered damage due to the severe downpours.
"I think the victims are having a hard time. I wanted to help them even in a small way," Kim shared. "I hope there won't be any more major damage."

A Longstanding Commitment to Giving
Kim Se-jeong is a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, which is for major donors. Her total donations to the association now exceed 120 million won (about $86,000 USD), showing her long-standing commitment to helping those in need.
She previously donated 20 million won in March to support wildfire recovery efforts in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Her charitable work has also included donations for COVID-19 response, support for Ukrainian war refugees, and relief during East Coast wildfires. Known for her talents and generous heart, Kim continues to be a role model for her fans and the public.
Upcoming Drama Return
On the entertainment side, Kim is preparing to return to television. She will star in the new MBC drama "The Moon Flows Over Lee Kang," which is set to air in the second half of 2025.
