Details About SBS Upcoming Drama "Penthouse"

SBS is planning and preparing a new drama "Penthouse".

According to SBS, on September 27, Kim Soon Ok and program directed Joo Dong Min are preparing an upcoming drama "Penthouse" that will be broadcasted next year. "Penthouse" is a story about a woman who strides through life and juggles her desire, motherhood, and job, as she enters high society.

Viewers have high-anticipation for this drama because of Kim Soon Ok and Joo Dong Min, who were also responsible for the high ratings of 17.9% (Nielsen Korea's national standard) for the "The Last Empress," which aired earlier this year.

Kim Soon Ok also wrote the dramas "Temptation of Wife" and "Jang Bori is Here!" before he worked with "The Last Empress." He has also written SBS's "Band of Sisters" which was very successful and heated up the drama industry. Joo Dong Min PD also had a career that led to the success of the "The Last Empress", following the drama "Return."

In the drama "Penthouse", Lee Ji Ah is rumored to play the main character. Eugene is also being considered for the role. Shin Sung Rok, who has a close relationship with the production team for "Return" and "The Last Empress", is also rumored to be a part of the cast.
