Lee Dong Gun And Kang Kyung Joon Share their Marriage Stories on “Radio Star”
Kang Kyung Joon, and Son Seung Yeon showed up as guests on the January 29 episode of MBC's talk show "Radio Star". Radio Star is a South Korean talk show that airs on MBC every Wednesdays at 23:10 (KST). It is hosted by Kim Gook-jin, Kim Gura and Ahn Young-mi. The very first episode of this show was aired last May 30, 2007.
On this episode of the show actors Lee Dong Gun and Kang Kyung Joon were asked some questions about their images as the "romantic husbands". And they also shared their true to life stories about the highs and lows of marriage.
Lee Dong-gun is married to actress Jo Yoon-hee, which was his co-star in "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop". The sweet couple tied the knot last September 29,2017 and welcomed a baby girl on December 2017. Lee Dong Gun shared a story on the talk show on how he did not remember his wedding anniversary. He further explained how it happened. He said that he was happy that he had a day off and did not want to go out. So, he just ordered pigs' feet. While Jo Yoon Hee his wife only picked her own food. Then when they went to bed that night, his wife just turned her back on him and just went to sleep, so he decided to leave her alone. But then, he heard her crying and he then realized what had happened. He continuously added that he gets nervous whenever his wife sends him a message that only says the word 'Oppa.' That's the signal that there are things that you know you did wrong. So if ever he gets that kind of text message before filming, he gets really nervous. He said that he really hates receiving that text because he'll never know what will come next.
On the other hand, actor Kang Kyung Joon also shared his experience of how he and his wife (Jang Shin Young) fought when he lied to his wife that his filming had run long but in reality, he went out for dinner with his colleagues. He then explained how his wife ghosted him in response to what he had done. He added that he thinks that his wife was angry because she was taking good care of their child alone and the actor came home late. Usually, there are times that he feels nervous when his wife does not take his call and he doesn't know where his wife is.
He also shared that there will be times that they have disagreements about how to raise their child. They both have different approach when it comes to parenting. He said that his wife is the type to scold the child and he is the type to try and meet the child halfway by listening to what they have to say. He has taken the role of the nice parent while the wife has the opposite role. Anyhow we all know that they only want what's best for their child.
As of now Lee Dong Gun and Kang Kyung Joon are appearing in the musical "Bodyguard."
