How Friends Help “X Factor” USA Judge Demi Lovato Stay Sober (Photo/Video)
X Factor judge, Demi Lovato is reportedly working hard to stay sober, thanks to her friends who make sure that she doesn’t take a sip even a drop of alcoholic beverages.
The Latina singer was again spotted dining with friends in Manhattan last week and she continues to be true to her promise that she is no longer drinking alcohol after entering rehab in 2011.
An insider was quoted as saying by Showbiz Spy that the “Heart Attack” singer also made sure that no food prepared with alcohol will be served on their table.
“Demi’s group made sure not only that there wasn’t any alcohol on their table,” a source said, according to Showbiz Spy, adding, “but requested there be no alcohol in any of the food they ordered.”
The “ X Factor” judge has been vocal about her short rehab stint and has kept her fans on the loop of efforts to do the right thing. She has served as an inspiration to her millions of followers on social media, particularly on Twitter. The 21-year old singer continues to interact with fans and she never fails to remind them to keep loving themselves and embracing who they are.
This advocacy comes from her experience as a teen she admitted being problematic, that even caused her to attempt to kill herself. Demi had suffered from eating disorder and her weight has been a recurring issues. The singer has declared coming to terms with who she is, noting that she could never be happier when she did.
She said, “I have spent the last year focusing on myself and it’s been incredible. More has come out of the past year than in my entire career so far, and I truly believe it was because I was taking care of myself…”
