Celebrity Couple Ham So Won and Jin Hua Draw Flak After "Overexaggerating" Financial Dilemma

In the latest episode of the program The Flavor of Wife, Ham So Won and her husband, Jin Hua, received some heavy criticism for "overexaggerating" their financial situation and blamed the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to the couple, all the factories in China are forced for a mandatory closure for three long months. On the April 7th broadcast of the show, Ham So Won expressed that her husband's income and salary are now half than what it was used to be since the factories in China still are closed. She added that both of them used to earn money, and now their income hs gone by fifty percent. At the same time, all their expenses still remain the same.

In the show, the couple is seen stressed and was revealed to be also suffering from insomnia due to their current dilemma. It reached the point where Jin Hua volunteered to become a Chinese tutor as a part-time job.

However, some of their viewers and netizens did not buy the couple's story. They are criticizing the couple because Jin Hua's parents just recently purchased the couple a house worth 1 billion KRW, or approximately 863,000 USD.

Some netizens didn't hide their disbelief and shared their two cents about the matter.

Actress Ham So-Won was seen in various films like Sex is Zero and Ameera. She also participated in Miss Korea pageant and was a finalist a year before.

On the other hand, some sources have revealed that Jin Hua went into idol training in South Korea in the past. He is reportedly the son of a CEO of a large farming business. He is also said to be an online celebrity in China, having thousands of fans on Weibo.

It is no secret that celebrity couple have an 18-year age gap. They announced their relationship in October of 2017 but also revealed that they had been dating since April of that same year. They then registered their marriage in February of 2018 in South Korea.

On December 18, 2018, the couple welcomed a healthy baby into the world.
