Kim Yoo-jung and Park Jin-young will star together in the new spy romance drama "100 Days of Lies," which will air on tvN in the second half of 2026.

The period drama takes place during the Japanese occupation and follows a skilled pickpocket who goes undercover while having a forbidden romance with an elite interpreter. The show is full of secret missions, intense love, and conflicting loyalties.

Before giving out more casting information, Naver coverage said that Kim Yoo-jung will play Lee Ga-gyeong, a master pickpocket in Gyeongseong who takes on a dangerous job from an independence movement group and pretends to be an interpreter for 100 days, during which time she meets Park Jin-young's character, Kim Tae-woong.

It also said that Kim Hyun-joo will play Yoo So-ran, a sniper out for revenge; Lee Moo-saeng will play Yoo Philip, a Korean-American journalist helping the resistance; and Jin Sun-kyu will play Sato Shinichi, an ambitious political official the independence movement is trying to kill.
The publication noted that expectations are growing about the "synergy" between the lead actors as they bring this intense historical story to life. The announcement was before fans spoke up online.
The drama will mix espionage, heart-wrenching choices, and a complicated romantic arc with political tension in colonial Gyeongseong before the series title and story details spread widely on social media.
There isn't an official release date yet, but the K-drama community is already buzzing about the show's star power and gripping story. The show is set to premiere in "the latter half of 2026."
