"When The Weather Is Fine" Recap: Hye Won Discovers The Truth Behind Her Father's Death

Hye Won found his aunt Myung Yeo lying on the floor, unconscious. They brought her to the hospital and doctors made a few tests to check her condition. The ophthalmologist explained to she suffered blindness on her left eye.

Untreated glaucoma caused Myung Yeo's severe headache, vomiting, and loss of sight. She never had herself checked and chose to stay at home. Hye Won called her mother to help her aunt with her illness. The next day, Myung Yeo changed her dress and packed her things, ready to go home. She didn't want to stay longer in the hospital since she doesn't have any savings.

When she arrived home, Myung Joo was waiting for her and asked her to take out her sunglasses. Myung Yeo has been wearing sunglasses every day to hide her left eye. People thought that she used sunglasses for fashion. Myung Joo saw her sister's condition and cried while insisting Myung Yeo should continue to enjoy her life. Myung Yeo responded that life was never the same after she committed a crime and never had the chance to pay for it. Hye Won arrived, and their conversation stopped.

Myung Yeo stayed in her room the whole time and continued to finish her novel. She changed the title of the script into "The Maze of the Sisterfield." She sent a copy of the script to Yoon Taek and Eun-Seob for checking.

The villagers were getting busy preparing for the "Rice Cake Festival." Everyone brought ingredients for them to cook and prepare for the occasion. Eun Sil and her parents cooked dishes for everyone. Jang Woo joined the villagers in their preparation. The festival is a season of preparation when winter is over and spring comes soon. Jang Woo tried to get close with Eun Sil and spend time with her the whole event.

Myung Joo asked Hye Won to go with her for lunch at the restaurant. She asked her mother to persuade Myung Yeo to get a schedule to check her right eye to avoid blindness, adding that she lost the spirit to enjoy life. She used to write but she stopped doing it, and it was the same as seeing Yoon Taek. Myung Joo took a deep sigh and never said a word.

Eun-Seob stayed with Hye Won the whole day. He stayed in the hospital with her where Myung Yeo was admitted. They also went to visit Seung Ho's grandfather to check how he was doing.

Yoon Taek arrived in Hyecheon train station late at night. After he read the script from Myung Yeo, he took the trip and met her. Myung Yeo waited for him to arrive though she told him why he keeps coming back to her hometown. Yoon Taek approached Myung Yeo and hugged her while confessing that he didn't want to break up. Myung Yeo responded that Yoon Taek is very good at tolerating her attitude.

The special book club members were busy cleaning and preparing food at Seung Ho's house. His grandfather will return home after he recovered from his illness. Everyone felt happy to see them back home again. Seung Ho's grandfather felt grateful for their help.

Eun-Seob read the script that Myung Yeo sent when he arrived in the bookstore. It took Eun-Seob the whole night until morning, thinking what to reply to Myung Yeo after reading it. He decided to give Hye Won a copy of the script for giving her the chance to decide what to do. He asked her to go home and took her day off from work. Hye Won was confused with his advice but went home and brought the script.

She arrived home and went back to sleep and planned to read it after she wakes up. Hye Won had the chance to read the script late afternoon. While going through a flashback of her aunt's life on the day her father died, it was revealed that she killed Hye Won's father and made Myung Joo get punished for what happened. Tears rolled down Hye Won's face.  

Myung Joo arrived and came across the tearful Hye Won at the dinner table. She asked her mother if it was true what her aunt wrote. Myung Joo tried to explain, but Hye Won cried and walked out of the house. She took a bus and took the whole trip after she ended at the bus terminal.

Eun-Seob received a call from Hye Won, who was at the bus station. He arrived and looked for Hye Won, dazed and at a loss for words.
