The ending of the 12th episode of "The World of The Married" had left the viewers stunned as Sun Woo and Tae Oh's heated argument turned into a dramatic twist.

Sun Woo saved Tae Oh from a police inquest, and after all the setbacks, she released her deepest secret. She opened up her vulnerability, which revealed her inner desire. Each week with two episodes, as you watch the story, gets more intriguing.

JTBC series "The World of the Married" reached Saturday's episode scored 24.3% of data cable television nationwide. They scored 26.7% around the Seoul Metropolitan area/Nielsen Korea. The percentage surpassed JTBC's "Sky Castle"'record of 23.8%, dated 2019.

Only four remaining episodes to go before its finale, and the show is getting a big impact on the viewers. The story is already a remake from the British series "Dr. Foster," but the director and producer ensure to provide a different angle for the viewers.

JTBC producer Mo Wan-il said, "While the original storyline is focused on the main character. In adapting the story for the Korean drama, we wanted to portray a whirlwind of emotions. To rage around the main character and the people around her."

TV drama expert and professor at Chungnam University Korea Yun Suk-jin shared his thoughts to The Korea Herald on the success of the drama series.

"The fact that the cheating is revealed in the first episodes shows that cheating itself is not what the story will expand on. But is only the motif of the story, which focuses on the main character and her surrounding relationships. Cheating itself is unethical, but the curiosity that everyone has about something considered as a taboo. The viewers, they themselves would not commit but wonder about - makes the people keep on watching the show," Yun Suk-jin said.

About how the drama series will end, Yun Suk-jin continued, "The World of the Married- is not just another play on prosaic justice. It will not show Sun-woo taking easy revenge on her husband. It is predictable that the following episodes will hold a twist for Sun-woo since the drama intends to show her who is seemingly perfect on the outside. As just another ordinary person with suppressed desires inside her."

At present, "The World of The Married" top-ranked the record for local cable nationwide views, while "Mister Trot" of TV Chosun holds the top hit rating of 35.7 percent.
