South Korean actress Yoo Hye-ri has shocked fans and the public with her young transformation, flaunting a dramatically refreshed look after a facelift and fat redistribution.
According to Sports Chosun, in a video titled "Yoo Hye-ri After: The Facelift 2 Weeks Later That Surprised Everyone" posted on the YouTube channel "BLACKLABEL: High-End Makeover Show", Yoo openly displayed her changed look and shared her experience with the cosmetic surgery.
Yoo, 62, had previously expressed concerns about sagging skin, dark circles, nasolabial folds, and hollow areas beneath her eyes. In the video, she appeared visibly pleased with her rejuvenated appearance, saying, "People say I look a bit different, and some don't even recognize me. When I went to the salon, they went crazy saying I looked different and younger."

Before the procedure, Yoo often wore glasses to mask under-eye hollowness and dark circles. She explained how the surgery impacted her confidence, "I used to wear glasses to divert attention. Also, wearing glasses used to make my face look smaller when I had nasolabial folds or sagging skin, but now I don't wear them. I don't even need glasses."
The actress requested the surgeons to pull the skin tightly during the facelift to ensure a lasting effect. "Since they were pulling it anyway, I asked them to pull it really hard. I felt like it would just slide down again, so I asked them to make it really tight," she said. Yoo also noted significant mental benefits from the procedure.
"I feel so good even when I do my makeup. My skin used to keep sagging even after applying cosmetics, but now I feel like it lifts up instantly even with just a little bit. My mood has brightened, and my depression has disappeared," she shared gratefully, per Naver.
The video and Yoo's comments have sparked considerable interest online, highlighting not only the physical changes but also the positive psychological effects of cosmetic surgery for older adults.
