"Fix You" Recap: Shi Joon Suffers From Traumatic Experience With His Previous Patient

Shi Joon discovered Woo Joo's borderline personality, which relives his past encounter with his previous patient. He chose to disconnect with Woo Joo and advised Young Won to handle her as a patient once again.

Shi Joon went into post-traumatic disorder eight years ago, when one of his patients made him feel guilty of her actions after he made efforts in treating her illness. Since then, he chose not to undergo any similar case as he suffered as well. With no patients to treat as part of his disciplinary sanctions, Shi Joon sought to enjoy playing video games and roam around the city.

On another day, Shi Joon's father recovered his memory and contacted him over the phone. Dr. Lee Taek was a famous surgeon before he suffered from dementia. He despises his son after choosing Psychiatry as a profession. Shi Joon visits him every time he wanders around, and he takes the chance to talk to him with coherence.

Woo Joo is furious about how Shi Joon ignored her and refused to talk with her. She felt restless the whole day as she released her frustrations with Ji Seon. An alcoholic patient was discharged and went to see Woo Joo. She offered soju drinks as the patient requested, and a few minutes after, the patient fell to the floor due to alcohol intoxication. Woo Joo brought the patient to the hospital.

The detective contacted Shi Joon and discussed his case. A violation in detaining patient Park Luo with no proper approval from his guardian. The detective advised Shi Joon to watch and be careful with anyone he talks with. Human rights commission received a complaint about Park Luo. Shi Joon figured out that it was his father who tipped the commission.

Park Luo is now Dr. In's a patient, and he had an accident after he tried to escape from his clinic. The hospital security officer held him and used a "teaser," which put him to sleep. The management and Dr. In are all stressed out with what happened. They need to inform Luo's mother to avoid any future complaints from the commission.

Young Won contacted Woo Joo and gave her another counseling session. She agreed as per Shi Joon's request. Woo Joo visited her clinic and shared her feelings of disappointment from Shi Joon. She felt better as they concluded. Woo Joo cares and wants to comfort Shi Joon the way he did for her.

Lee Taek escaped the nursing home and proceeded to Shi Joon's hospital to perform a surgery. He is in the state of delusion that he works there as a doctor. Shi Joon rushed inside the operating room and grabbed him outside. He confronted his father for tipping him to the commission, which led him to lose his patients and under investigation. Lee Taek wanted Shi Joon to switch from being a psychiatrist to a surgeon. That is why he is pushing him hard. Dr. Park saw what happened and shoved Shi Joon away to calm down.

Woo Joo saw and heard the encounter of Shi Joon and his father. She persuaded him to join her in the stage therapy room. She played a song and dance to give comfort to Shi Joon, and he smiled and felt relieved after the dance. They become friends once again.
