"Hospital Playlist" Recap: Song Hwa and Jung Won Plans To Leave The Hospital

Suk Hyung's father died, leaving him with a company to take care of. He will also be a brother soon, knowing that his father lived with his mistress for the past years.

Everyone was busy at the hospital, but they gave Suk Hyung time to visit and talk with him at his father's wake.

Nurse Sung-bin worked hard even though her daughter suffered from a benign tumor. She wasn't able to check on her until there have been issues with her sight. She works full time in the hospital. 

Jung Won already made his decision and informed Chief Ju that this will be his last year in the hospital. By the end of the year, he wishes to proceed to enter the seminary. Chief Ju felt sad and informed him of the scarcity of pediatric surgeons around Korea. If Jung Won leaves the hospital, the pediatric surgery department will be closed.

Jung Wan dated Ik-sun for the past weeks, and they prefer to keep it a secret from Ik-sun. Jung Wan brought a snow-crab for dinner at Ik-sun's house while seeing his sister at the same time.

Ik-sun is leaving for Europe to study for three months, but she is firm about not getting married or being engaged with Jung Wan. She wanted to study and continue with her career plans. Jung Wan assured her that he will wait for the time she comes back, and three years will pass easily.

Ahn Chi Yong celebrated his birthday with a simple dinner with Song Hwa. He tried to express his admiration, but Song Hwa looked at him with a serious face, a sign that they shouldn't cross the line as friends and work colleagues.

Ik-sun ordered pork belly for lunch. Song Hwa and Jung Wan saw it but were restricted to wait after Ik-sun and Jung Won readily prepared the food. They are meat eaters and can finish the meal in seconds.

Resident doctor Gyeon Wool had her first surgery with Jung Won's assistance. The operation went well, and though she felt nervous with confidence. At the center garden, Jung Won fondly discussed the things she needed to remember and congratulated Gyeon Wool for an excellent job. From a distance, Rosa saw a chance to convince Jung Won not to be a priest.

The neurosurgeon department went out to a party, and Ik-sun joined them. The staff played the question and answer game. It was Ik-sun's turn to answer their questions, and he was asked if he has feelings for Song Hwa. Though a little shaken with soju, he replied "yes," which took everyone by surprise, including Song Hwa and Ahn Chi Yong.

Jung Wan performed heart surgery for a six-month-old baby. They were lucky to receive a young heart donor. They proceeded to the operation right away.

After a long thought, Song Hwa decided to transfer to another hospital after the year ends. She wanted to rest and manage her neck injury. She's been taking 3x dosage of pain reliever each day. The guys felt sad as they will miss her, and the band won't be playing regularly, but Song Hwa promised to visit them every week.

Rosa talked to Gyeon Wool to request if she can persuade Jung Won to stay in the hospital and change his mind about his priesthood dreams. Gyeon Wool felt confused about what to do.
