Yes, there are greater things than stories about love and rom-com movies and series. Many talented writers tell stories to add adrenaline-spiking horrors with a sick twist at the end.

Here are seven thriller Korean dramas if you're up for a thrilling ride.

First is the exciting webtoon adaptation, "Memorist," which tells the story about an ill-tempered detective named Dong Baek, portrayed by Yoo Seung Ho. He has a special ability to look into people's memories. Also, Han Sun Mi, played by Lee Se Young, is a criminal profiler who has an unconventional personality. A wanted serial killer brings the two together to bring the offender to justice. As you watch the drama, multiple occasions in the story will bring you into a perplexed state through the tangled events.

The second is "Kill it," a story about a retired hitman, Kim Soo Hyun, who is portrayed by Jang Ki Yong. He now works as a veterinarian. His previous work made himself visible to the police when detective Do Hyun Jin, portrayed by Nana, follows a lead that led her to meet Kim Soo Hyun, and she finds out something about him that leaves her shaken. If you're looking for a story that will make you not want to stop watching, watch "Kill it." Both characters share a very tough personality yet very loving and kind, which they show in multiple scenes in the story.

Third comes the drama "Tell Me What You Saw." Its story tells about three people coming together: Oh Hyun Jae, portrayed by Jang Hyuk, is a criminal profiler; Hwang Hwa Young, played by Jin Seo Yeon, is an elite detective; and Cha Soo Young, portrayed by Girls' Generation's Soo Young, a cop with an eidetic memory to catch a serial killer that is responsible for the death of Hyun Jae's wife. The synergy of the three and the fact that the female character holds a power makes the thriller drama even more exciting.

Fourth is "He is Psychometric." This drama revolves around a young man Lee Ahn, played by GOT7's Jin Young, who has a special ability to see secrets from other people just by a single touch. Also, a young lady Yoon Jae In, portrayed by Shin Ye Eun, who has the deepest darkest secret that she would do anything not to be revealed. 

Dramas with superpowers are definitely a must-watch!

Together, they solve multiple cases and unravel the mysteries behind a grave incident that occurred eleven years ago, and will reveal that their connection is more than just how their current relationship blossomed.

Last but not least, "Lawless Lawyer." It's a story about Bong Sang Pil, played by Lee Joon Gi, who is a tough lawyer that brings physical and legal punches just to bring out bad people hiding behind the power to justice. He hires a fresh lawyer, Ha Jae Yi, played by Seo Ye Ji, who hits a judge at a trial. They both work together to stop corrupt people who use power to hide their crimes. This story brings suspense and righteousness, which makes the story worth watching.
