"Mystic Pop-Up Bar" Recap: A Tragic Love Story

In the recent episode of "Mystic Pop-Up Bar," the team teased Kang Bae with his first kiss with Yeo-rin. He was smiling the whole time while thinking about it. On the other hand, Yeo-rin felt anxious as she made the first move to kiss Kang Bae.

They met at the supermarket, and she was startled. Kang Bae greeted her and invited her out for lunch. After the dance contest, they haven't gone out on their own. Yeo-rin tried to ignore and avoided Kang Bae, as well as hide her feelings for him.

The security and customer service team went out for a dinner party in celebration for their dance victory. Kang Bae could not take his eyes from Yeo-rin. He treated her with kindness and served her at the table. Yeo-rin showed discouraging actions from letting Kang Bae dislike her but to no avail.

Kang Bae always gives a good vibe watching her the whole time. On their way home, Yeo-rin told Kang Bae to stay away from her. She thinks they are not suitable for each other. She left Kang Bae, looking pale and at a loss for words. 

Kang Bae chose not to report to work at the supermarket. Yeo-rin got worried after she learned about it. 

A dead spirit followed Kang Bae after he went for house-hunting. He heard eerie sounds and a cold sensation since then. Kang Bae felt that the spirit follows him several times. He shared with Weol Joo and Chief Gwi his experience. 

They went to the apartment to check once again. Weol Joo then met the "ice witch," the author of a famous novel she reads with Chief Gwi. They discovered the spirit's name is Shin Bo-Ra. She died from a heart attack at a young age.

Shin Bo-Ra fell in love with a delivery man named Kim Do-Yeong. They became a couple as Do-Yeong visited and pursued Bo-Ra. 

Until one day, Do-Yeong misunderstands Bo-Ra's true feelings. He abandoned her, such a time that Bo-Ra died waiting for him to come back. Weol Joo and the mystic team gathered to help Bo-Ra say her last goodbye to Do-Yeong before she goes to the afterlife. 

Do-Yeong discovered the novel that Bo-Ra wrote is about their love story. Weol Joo gets to act as Juliet, while Kang Bae is the deliveryman named Romeo. They reenacted the whole novel inside Do-Yeong's dream. Weol Joo brought Do-Yeong back to Bo-Ra's apartment for closure. Bo-Ra gets to say her feelings as Wool Joo helped her relay her message.

Do-Yeong asked forgiveness with full of resentment. They forgave each other, making Bo-Ra's spirit ascend to the afterlife. Another point has been added to Weol Joo's list for saving a soul.

Weol Joo's flashback appeared, the night her mother died in the hands of a trusted friend. Weol Joo and the prince became a couple, which the queen opposed.

The prince's loyal warrior helped him in secret meet Weol Joo. Unfortunately, the queen found it out. She then instructed the warrior to kill Weol Joo's mother. He was a trusted friend, but he followed the royal's order. Since then, the prince never saw Weol Joo again.

She lost her mother and the prince who are dear to her heart. Weol Joo took revenge for what the people did to her.
