"Sweet Munchies" Recap: Expressing Their True Identities Creates Tension and Anxiety
Kang Tae Wan visited Ah Jin's place since he knew that Jin Sung is accompanying her. He gets jealous as they get closer together.
Jin Sung cooked their dinner. They watched the late-night show together. Tae Wan doesn't want to leave the place without Jin Sung going home as well. But Jin Sung insisted that he may head home first since its getting late. Tae Wan advised him to visit tomorrow to fit a new set of clothes for the show.
Meanwhile, Jin-Woo (Chef Park's brother) is excited to see Kang Tae Wan in person. He changed into fashion style clothes and waited outside Ah Jin's house. He wanted to work with him, but Jin Sung convinced him not to.
At the office, Sang-Young gathered all the staff to present his new proposal to them for another variety show. They all laughed with the concept and agreed to proceed with his ideas to Director Cha.
Jin Sung visited Tae Wan's office and fitted a new set of clothes for the show. Jin Sung shared with Tae Wan if he wanted to meet single women. Letting him stay away from Ah Jin. Tae Wan tried to catch his thoughts if he knew what he felt. But Jin Sung still doesn't have a clue with how he felt as a gay. Tae Wan advised him not to overthink if he looks lonely and that he is happy with what he wants.

Jin Sung still doesn't have any clue about Tae Wan's sexuality. He thinks that Tae Wan has feelings for Ah Jin, so he finds a way to be with her. As for Tae Wan, he tried to open up his feelings for Jin Sung, thinking that he is truly gay. Little did he knew that Jin Sung played the gay chef of the show because of his financial problem. Ah Jin, on the other hand, thought that Jin Sung is gay like Tae Wan.
"Sweet Munchies" aired for their first regular time slot show. Ah Jin and Jin Sung preferred to spend the night celebrating together at her place. Ah Jin prepares their meal, which Jin Sung praised her. To their surprise, Sung Eun, Ah Jin's good friend, and the scriptwriter for the show arrived and brought stuff for Ah Jin. Jin Sung hides at the bathroom since Ah Jin wanted to disclose their blossoming friendship.
To free himself from the dark bathroom, Jin Sung and Ah Jin made an effort to report to the police about a burglar scene in her place. Sung Eun puzzled why Jin Sung came out from the bathroom.
Director Cha treated the whole team to a beef party for the good ratings of the premiere show of "Sweet Munchies." She congratulated Jin Sung and the rest of the team, offering a special bonus if the show progresses to higher ratings.
Jin Woo saw "Sweet Munchies" premiere as his other gay friends are waiting for it. He got shocked to see his older brother as the main lead as a gay. Later that night, he confronted Jin Sung for doing such an act. He concluded that his brother did to be a gay Chef Park to finance their father's hospital bills. Still, Jin-Woo insisted that Jin Sung made a fraud identity onscreen.
