"Fix You" Recap: They Need Each Other's Support to Overcome Emotional Struggles

Shi Joon received a farewell call from Nurse Na, crying and in depression - she's about to commit suicide. The nursing department is blaming her for her colleague's death. 

Shi Joon reported the incident to the police, and they set up a quick search and rescue. They found her location near the river bridge while Shi Joon and Woo Joo went ahead to the location. 

The whole team can't contact Nurse Na. What Shi Joon planned is to put on a live stream of his podcast through the speakers located along the bridge. He talked live and sent his message to Nurse Na, letting her calm down and stop her thoughts of committing suicide. 

The strategy was effective. Nurse Na heard Shi Joon's voice, which gets her preoccupied. A few minutes after, Shi Joon found her standing at the side of the bridge. He talked to her and encouraged her to stay and listen to what he says. 

Nurse Na was rescued, and she was sent to the hospital for checking. Woo Joon is more worried about what the director will react to the broadcast Shi Joon initiated.

Eun Kang Medical hospital is on the hot seat as one of the ICU nurses committed suicide due to bullying and lack of support from the management. The hospital did not hire enough manpower, which causes other staff to suffer from fatigue and work pressures.

The next day, director Jo advised Dr. Oh to head the disciplinary committee to look into Shi Joon's case of causing damage to the hospital's reputation. 

Dr. Park is more concerned with the committees to twist the story and manipulate and suspend Shi Joon. He tried to convince Director Jo, but she is more disappointed and almost lost her job because of the controversy.

Meanwhile, Woo Joo decided to transfer her consultations to Dr. Park to clear out Shi Joon's name about their relationship.

While helping the Gongbap restaurant, Woo Joo loses her temper towards her best friend, Ji Seon. They fought and weren't able to end well. Shi Joon caught them fighting and bring Woo Joo to the park. She got mad as Ji Seon grabbed her cellphone and advised her foster mother to stay away from her. Ji Seon cared much, which leads Woo Joo tao to say hurtful words and shout at her. 

Dr. Oh is getting ready for the disciplinary hearing. He tried to talk and ask questions around the hospital about Shi Joon's credibility, but the nurses supported Shi Joon and did join his campaign.

On the other hand, Woo Joo found out her diagnosis for mental illness. She has a suspected borderline personality. Woo Joo felt frustrated knowing about it, so she spent the whole afternoon drinking, comforting herself from the pain. 

On the day of the hearing, the disciplinary committee headed by Dr. Oh waited at the meeting room. They are more prepared to put Shi Joon's career down. But Dr. In shared his thoughts about it to Shi Joon. The committee is using Shi Joon's relationship with Woo Joo as part of the grounds to dismiss him. 

With careful thought alone in his office, Shi Joon decided not to attend the hearing and steps out of the hospital.
