"Kkondae Intern" Recap: Will The Interns Pass The Final Intervew?
Senior intern Lee Man Sic got busted by his wife, who made a special visit at the office. Lee Tae Ri, with no exception, exposed herself as the daughter of Kkondae Man Sic.
Everyone got surprised as Lee Man Sic turns out to be the father of Lee Tae Ri. They kept the information to themselves, afraid that they will not be accepted by working in the same company. But they went with the job because of Namgoong Jun Seo's plan to get rid of Yeol Chan.
Lee Man Sic carried all his belongings and stayed with his daughter Tae Ri. His wife kicked him out of their house when she knew Man Sic's real job. Yeol Chan was shocked to learn the lady she admired is the daughter of the person he hated back in his intern days. Thinking of dating Tae Ri would be hard since Man Sic would end up as his father-in-law.
The performance evaluation for all interns is happening in a few weeks. The management decided to partner with one senior intern together with the young ones. Yeol Chan learned that in his marketing department, only one staff could get a permanent position. Considering Tak Jung is a contract employee, she gets the advantage after her evaluation.
The next day, Chairman Pyo met with Cheol Chan and informed him about the company's upcoming promotion as the managing director. This ensures his directorial position against the existing director Jun Seo. While executive secretary Goo is not happy about it, she made plans to drop the promotion. She gathered facts about Jun Seo's method of manipulating the recruitment process six months ago.
Man Sic and his daughter Tae Ri joined forces to present their proposal for the final interview, while Yoon Soo partnered with IT department senior intern Han. Man Sic is determined that they will excel in the last interview and get a chance to work.
Secretary Goo discovered that the young interns were hired because of Jun Seo's recruitment corruption. She shared the information with Yeol Chan. She will not proceed with exposing the file if Yeol Chan will not proceed with the promotion. Yeol Chan agreed to her offer to protect his staff.
On the day of the final interview, Man Sic excelled in his skills in marketing techniques. Yoon Seo overcame his timid personality and convinced the panel of his sales strategy as well. Yeol Chan was both sad and happy to see his staff work hard and perform well.
On the duo presentations, Tae Ri stood with confidence as she delivers their product. Senior intern Han acknowledged Yoon Seo's efforts in gathering all the data. Everyone praised the three interns from the marketing department. Yeol Chan felt sad knowing they won't be able to get a permanent position.
A few minutes before the meeting ends, the detective from the Metropolitan police arrived, entered the room, and invited Man Sic, Tae Ri, and Yoon Seo for questioning. Secretary Goo continued to submit the file she planned to have. Yeol Chan was shocked as Goo never stands by her words.
Tae Ri steps back and hides with her father Man Sic while Yoon Seo turned pale, looking at the audience and management panel.
