"Oh, My Baby" Recap: Ha-Ri Finds Love But Loses a Friend

Ha-Ri and Yi Sang spent the weekend together away from the busy streets of Seoul. Though he arrived past midnight, it was worth the wait.

The following morning, Yi Sang surprised her with a pretty necklace as a gift. Ha-Ri couldn't say more of how thoughtful he is. They spent their breakfast, overlooking the green scenery of the garden.

Meanwhile, Ok-Ran is experiencing problems with her former husband, Ha Ri's father. He kept on borrowing money and planned to visit his daughter. Ok-Ran gave him enough money to stop his plans of seeing their daughter.

Back in the office, Eu Ddeum gave Ha-Ri a present good for her health. They met at the lobby and he is still hopeful that they will get closer someday.

Being married to Ha Ri came across Yi Sang's mind, looking at the wedding dress and photographs, though he doesn't have any idea how to deal with it.

Jae Young invited Ok-Ran for lunch. He informed her of his plans of moving out. He accepted the thought that he wouldn't be able to win Ha-Ri's heart anymore. Although their parents agreed to an arranged marriage at a young age, it never worked out for them. They kept on fighting and eventually became closer as a family. 

At the studio, Yi Sang and Soo Cheol talked about plans in his engagement proposal. They never realized that Ha Ri and her staff overheard them while picking up a few things. This created anxiety on Ha Ri's part. She felt scared and overthinking every time Yi Sang was around. 

Marriage was one of her ultimate plans, together with having her child. But because of her experience after her father left, she felt hesitant to have a family of her own. Her friend Eun Young explained that she has "cold feet," a feeling that happens to anyone before getting married. It scared Ha Ri that reality hits her, and her dreams will now come true.

Baby Do-Ah will spend a few days with her mother, Jun-won. It was hard for Jae Young, but he allowed it to happen even if they got a divorce for Do-Ah's sake, while Ok-ran spent the weekend in another place.

Ha-Ri arrived home late, and Jae Young stayed on the ground floor alone. The house lights went on a blackout due to a system check. Ha-Ri and Jae Young remained in the living room with candles and accompanied each other. 

Jae Young opened the conversation that she was his first love and felt it while they were in grade school. He was immature that he let it go and did not continue. Ha-Ri commented that things would still be the same even they go on with their feelings back then. Ha-Ri felt a special feeling towards Jae Young back in their high school days, but he went out with another girl. 

Jae Young mentioned if they go on with their feelings when they were young, they either become a couple or fall out of love and be strangers. He confesses his feelings that he had taken for granted and missed many things before.

Jae Young admitted to Ha-Ri that he liked her a lot, and being honest is for him to end his feelings. He realized that he would suffer at first of losing her, but he will recover in time. Ha-Ri is now with Yi Sang, and she is happy where she is at.

Ok-Ran didn't go home. Ha Ri got worried and looked for her. She found out that her mother took care of his father at the hospital. He is in the last stage of cancer, and Ok-Ran wanted to help him. Though they have separated, Ha-Ri felt no love for him. He abandoned them, which led to Ok-Ran to work hard day and night. Ok-Ran chose to forgive and take care of him on his critical days.

It was hard for Ha-Ri to accept what his father did, but Ok-Ran made her understand that they need to forgive to move on with their lives. Yi Sang saw Ha-Ri in one of her lowest points again. She cried hard in Yi Sang's arms. 

The next day, Yi Sang invited Ha-Ri to meet him at the studio. He requested that they take pictures as a couple, which they have not done yet. He then knelt and took out the ring and asked Ha-Ri to marry him. She was speechless, and her eyes were wide open as she looked at him in shock.
