The first season of "Forest of Secrets" was released from June to July of 2017, and it received amazing reviews because of how diverse and exciting the series was.
It all started when Cho Seung Woo, who played Hwang Shi Mok who had a cerebrum medical procedure or brain surgery when he was young, resulted in his lack of emotions.
He now works as a prosecutor and is the best one there is because he never gets himself involved in any sort of corruption. He is wise, logical, but also he is someone who isolates himself from other people. He then met a police lieutenant named Han Yeo-Jin (Bae Doo Na) because he was given a task to solve a murder mystery when a dead body was thrown at him.
The series was something new for the audience - it was intriguing, full of mystery as one fan would say. If you're up for some thrilling drama and uncovering truth, this one's worth bingeing on.
In September of 2019, a second season for "Forest of Secrets" was confirmed, as well as several new actors to participate in the new installment, such as Choi Moo Sung and Jeon Hye Jin.
Meanwhile, the upcoming drama finally unveiled a new teaser!
In the video, the scene began inside a car driving along a foggy road as an eerie tune plays in the background. This then ends with a road sign.
The second season will air in August and is said to take "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" spot after the latter concludes.
Given the first season didn't disappoint, many fans can't wait to witness what will unfold in the succeeding installment. What makes the drama even more realistic is that the director is never afraid to show the negative things or side of either protagonist or antagonist, making the "Forest of Secrets" even more realistic.
In addition, this series will make you reflect in life, and that there can be a person who promises to become better but to no avail. Viewers will learn through Han Yeo Jin's viewpoint that corrupt people will do everything to gain more power, and in spite of this, one should always stand on the ground and follow what is right.
