"Dinner Mate" Recap: Love Tastes Sweeter for Hae Kyung and Doo Hee

Doo Hee and Hae Kyung are happy to announce their relationship to his mother. They felt like a young couple in a first-time relationship as they are conscious about their movements. 

It wasn't easy for the couple, though, as first, Noh Eul is in a live stream show where Doo Hee is the producer, and second, Jae Hyuk is part of the show as the creative director. To make the live show more interesting, Hae Kyung joined to accept Doo Hee's previous offer.

CEO Nam is more anxious having the four of them in one sitting. Doo Hee tried to focus on her work, and the first segment they made was eating their favorite dessert. As the first live stream started, Noh Eul chose the carrot cake while Hae Kyung had coffee and macaroons. Jae Hyuk chose the strawberry cake, and as he ate a spoonful, he started gasping for breath. Doo Hee stopped the show and approached Jae Hyuk, knowing he has a severe allergy to strawberry. 

Luckily enough, Jae Hyuk brought his medicine, and they let him drink it right away. Hae Kyung advised him to bring him to the hospital. Noh Eul handed Jae Hyuk a photo of Doo Hee that he kept and brought every day. Hae Kyung saw the picture and did not say anything.

To clear things up, Doo Hee spends time with Hae Kyung as they eat dinner together in his clinic. She explains that things with Jae Hyuk ended already, and she has moved on. Hae Kyung assured her that he understands though he needs to protect her.

CEO Nam recommends having product placement for the show. The whole team went out for a video blog and replaced it for the "Have My Heart" segment. They played paintball and had two teams. CEO Nam and her team won the game. To give the whole team relaxed bonding time, they drink and eat the night away. 

Noh Eul tried to force Hae Kyung to get back into their relationship, but he declined. He asked her to move on as he already has his heart for Doo Hee.

Hae Kyung joined them and spent a romantic night with Doo Hee before he headed home. A kiss sealed their night and ensured that all things are good between them. 

Keanu is a former psychiatrist who lost his job due to fake news made by Jae Hyuk during his reporting stints in the past. His life was in danger, and his whole family left Korea to get away with the humiliation. Keanu wanted his life back as he found Jae Hyuk back in Seoul. He insisted that Jae Hyuk needs to tell the truth to the public to have his life back again. Jae Hyuk refused to do so because of his family and losing everything as well.

Doo Hee and Hae Kyung spent the night at his place watching old classic movies. Though he wanted her to stay longer, she chose to go home. Doo Hee gave him a sweet goodnight kiss on the cheek. As Doo Hee opens the light, she found all her things scattered on the floor. Trembling, she answered Hae Kyung's call and mentioned what happened. Hae Kyung turned the car around, back to Doo Hee's place. 

As she moves around, Doo Hee picks a frying pan to protect anyone who might still be inside.
