Sang Shik's memories are now back and he has to remember the differences his wife Jin Sook suffered in their relationship. Eun Hee discovered her mother's biggest secret about Eun Joo being her stepsister.

Jin Sook got pregnant at a young age. Her family disowned her and convinced her to abort her child. Jin Sook stood by her decision to carry on with her pregnancy. She met Sang Shik, who worked as a delivery driver, proposed to her despite the child she was carrying.

Eun Joo's biological father abandoned them and Jin Sook chose to marry Sang Shik until they have children of their own.

Eun Hee advised her mother to tell Eun Joo the truth of her biological father before getting the news from other people.

Tae Hyung returned to their house and continued to work in the clinic. He told Eun Joo that they can still live together until she finds out what she wants to do. They will try to be civil and friends in dealing with each other.

It's been a week since Eun Hee and Chan Hyuk didn't communicate with each other. When they knew that both of them would have a scheduled meeting at the meditation center, they were eager to meet and talk again.

The weather is nice. Jin Sook took the courage to bring her eldest daughter to her childhood place. She reminisces about the things she used to do and Eun Joo's grandmother would pick all the fruits. All these, Jin Sook shared with a confused Eun Joo.

She started crying and ushered her daughter to sit down. Jin Sook shared her bitter experience of how her parents pushed her away. She got pregnant and her boyfriend ran away. Jin Sook explained to Eun Joo that she chose to give birth to her. Sang Shik saved her from all the trouble and gave her a home to stay.

Eun Joo tried to find her strength to accept what her mother revealed about her true identity, though she began to resent Sang Shik and pitied Jin Sook for what her life had become.

Meanwhile, Mr. Im took a one week holiday without calling and telling Eun Hee what happened. She waited for his reasons and worked until late evening, hoping he would visit her at work. When he returned, he explained that he took care of Ha Ra, his ex-girlfriend, who got sick. Eun Hee finally decided to end their relationship and realized that he still chose to patch things up with Ha Ra.

It's late in the evening. Tae Hyung got worried as Eun Joo did not return home. He called Eun Hee and asked to look for her.

In front of her house, Eun Joo stood to wait for her to arrive. Eun Joo confronted Eun Hee about why she let their mother talk to her alone. They argued and exchanged words about their parents. Eun Joo got insulted and left the place. As she walked, tears poured and she broke down crying at the side of the road. Eun Hee ran after her, but Eun Joo tried to push her away. A few minutes later, she had a hard time breathing.

Eun Hee brought her sister to Tae Hyung's clinic. He gave her sedatives to let her sleep. Eun Joo chose to keep Eun Joo's story a secret from him.

Days passed, Jin Sook continued to go to the elderly hospital. Sang Shik, without any advise, arrived and cornered Jin Sook inside the facility. He thought that Jin Sook had an affair with the fruit owner she knew for a long time.

Jin Sook introduced Sang Shik to the fruit owner and his sick wife. For many years, Jin Sook worked as a part-time caregiver to earn money and helped sustain the family. Sang Shik felt embarrassed by how he judged them.

Another family gathering at Kim's house ensued. Everyone hated the thought of seeing one other. Sang Shik called his children to meet him. As he arrived, he introduced Young Shik to the family, who brought along his young son.

Sang Shik cleared his voice and told them that they are a family, including Young Shik and his son.
