Baro Talks About His Kiss Scene With Jung Woo For “Reply 1994”

After the sixth episode broadcast of "Reply 1994" last November 2, viewers and fans alike were surprised to see a kiss scene between B1A4's Baro and actor Jung Woo.

The student dormers of Shin Chon Boarding House were playing a dare game, and on the second to the last round, Binggeurae (Baro) and Sseureki (Jung Woo) were dared to kiss. Because they were all drunk and sleepy, Sseureki just went in for the kill and kissed Binggeurae lightly on the lips like it was nothing. Binggeurae, on the other hand, was left a little dazed and smiley, leaving fans to speculate that his character was gay.

On November 6, Baro and Son Ho Jun, the actor who plays the role of Haitai, appeared in MBC's Shimshimtapa Radio as guest DJs. During the show, Baro shared his thoughts on his first on-screen kiss.

"The kiss scene with Jung Woo was filmed just once without NG," he said. "But for this to happen, we had to practice at least ten times before the filming. Only one scene was broadcast during the episode, but we filmed it twice for two angles. Both were filmed without NGs."

"Reply 1994" has been gaining much attention due to its unique plot and well-developed characters. For its sixth episode, it received an average rating of 5.8%, with a peak rating of 6.9%.
