Korean drama stars, amid their busy schedules, are also enrolled or have studied in prominent universities to pursue their education.
With pleasing personality, great looks, and being educated make our favorite K-drama actors and actresses a whole package worth looking up to. Some of them studied abroad, but it's a fact that South Korea has famous and prestigious universities that Hallyu stars enrolled in.
Seoul National University
Kim Tae Hee earned her bachelor's degree in fashion and design from Seoul National University. Beauty queen and actress Honey Lee studied music at SNU. Veteran actor Lee Soon Jae is also an alumnus.
SNU is one of the prestigious and hardest schools to get in, being categorized as the "Harvard of Korea." It is in the standing as 11th QS Asia University Rankings and 37th worldwide.
Sungkyunkwan University

Actress Kim So Hyun studied in the department of Film and Theater. Actor Jang Dong Yoon in 2011 took a degree under the Department of Economy and Finance. Some of the school alumni are Jung Il Woo and Jang Keun Suk, who took Theater and Cinema. Another actor is Lee Ye Young Ae, who takes up German Language and Literature.

Superstar Gong Yoo took up his theater degree at Kyung Hee University.
"Goblin" superstar Gong Yoo majored in theater at Kyung Hee University. Actor Kim Ji Seok graduated from the school of Journalism and Communication. Some of the alumni are Rain, CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, and Han Ga In.
