When you saw the poster above, you felt a bit of nostalgia, right? "Princess Hours" is one of the most famous hit dramas that centers the story into the fixed marriage of the Crown Prince Lee Shin, portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, and the simple and commoner Shin Chae Kyeong, played by Yoon Eun Hye.

"Princess Hours" tells the story of a lively young girl and a prince who is living in loneliness, slated to be wed through a fixed marriage by their ancestors. This drama is the Korean version of the Cinderella story with a 24-episode long series. The drama's setup is in modern-day Korea, and the show starts with the restoration of the royal family. The main character, portrayed by Kim Tae Hee, starts from being an ordinary citizen to being a princess in a snap, which makes her experience the life of royalty that many envy. Then, she eventually meets a chaebol's son, portrayed by Song Seung Heon, who aids and guides her to be a princess and fulfill her new role.

Those who have watched this drama are all well aware that the cast members of "The King 2 Hearts" are considered big names in the industry today. Starring in this drama is all-star cast Ha Ji Won, Lee Seung Gi, Jo Jung Suk, and Yoon Je Moon.

This drama is about a high-handed South Korean prince, prince Lee Jae Ha portrayed by Lee Seung Gi. He will fall in love with the daughter of a North Korean military officer, characterized by Ha Ji Won.

Both characters meet in a joint military training exercise. Eventually, they are to be wed due to some political reasons after a fated sequence of events, and more politics ensue. Upon discovering their deepest darkest secret, the queen is forced to face life-threatening scenarios with the factions split between those who want to protect the royal lineage and those seeking to overthrow them. This show will keep you on the edge of your seat with its suspense! 

The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)

This drama is a much-anticipated one since it stars the Korean Hallyu star Lee Mi Ho and "Goblin" lead Kim G Eun. Set in the parallel universe, one Korea is ruled by a single monarch king Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and the other is modern-day Korea that we all know. 

Emperor Lee Gon was able to discover the entry point between two universes and was able to cross to the other world where he meets Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun), a police officer from the Republic of Korea. Eventually, both characters fall in love and do their best to make their relationship work despite living in different universes.
