So Hee Jung and Lee Jung Joon Join Cast Lineup of Upcoming MBC Drama "Kairos"
Veteran star So Hee Jung and rookie Lee Jung Joon join cast lineup of MBC's soon-to-air drama, "Kairos"!
Fantasy and mystery-themed drama, "Kairos," will revolve around a man who has a driven passion to always achieve success in his life. He is the youngest executive at his company and lives a perfect life, together with his violinist wife and his only daughter. Everything changes when his beloved daughter goes missing and is kidnapped. He wants nothing more but to get his daughter back again, so he contacts a woman from a month in the past, who also experienced the same thing with her mother.
"Kairos" is one of the Korean dramas that fans are highly anticipating due to its star-studded lineup. It includes strong actors Shin Sung Rok, known for his portrayal in "Vagabond" (2019). He will be portraying the role of Kim Seo Jin whose credibility and determination have made him the youngest director at a construction company.
Joining him will be Lee Se Young, known for her role in "Memorist" (2020). She will be portraying Han Ae Ri, a woman from the past. Ahn Bo Hyun from "Backstreet Rookie" (2020) will portray Seo Do Kyun, the reason for the first conflict in the story. Nam Gyu Ri, known for her roles in "Death Bell" (2008) and "49 Days" (2011), will be portraying the role of Kang Hyun Chae.
Further, veteran star So Hee Jung will be portraying the role of Hye Kyung, a babysitter who takes care of Kim Seo Jin's daughter. The actress is known for her supporting roles in films, such as "Miss and Mrs. Cops" (2019), "Birthday" (2019), and dramas "The Temperature of Language: Our Nineteen" (2020), "Psychopath Diary (2020). However, viewers were even more impressed in her roles in Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" (2018), "Hotel De Luna" (2019), "When the Devil Calls Your Name" (2019), and "Psychopath Diary" (2019).
What her fans love about her is her profound yet subtle acting in many dramas of varying genres. She has recently done films such as Intruder and recent zombie film "#ALIVE," which was the first-ever film to have the highest first-day viewership this year before the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Together with actress So Hee Jung is rookie actor Lee Jung Joon, who will be portraying the role of Kim Seo Jin's younger self. Lee Jung Joon is quite a promising actor having graduated at Korea National University of Arts. He is known for his roles in OCN's "Class of Lies" (2019), "Best Mistake Season 2," where he portrayed a baseball player named Choi Seung Hyun, who was immediately loved by the public.
Lee Jung Joo does not only have attractive looks but he also has a promising talent in acting, which viewers look forward to in the upcoming "Kairos."
"Kairos" will be directed by Director Park Seung Woo, known for his works in "Person Who Gives Happiness (2016), "Lookout" (2017), and "Spring Turns to Spring" (2019). The drama will be written by scriptwriter Lee Soo Hyun from "Crime Squad" (2011).
