Ahn Jaehyun once shared in an interview that he thinks his synchronization with the character is about 300 percent. He also wanted to showcase his masculine side through this drama, that was why he gained about 8kg.

Since the drama is based on a webtoon of the same name, she had to look as similar as possible to the graphic character. In an effort to resemble the charater perfectly, the actress announced through an Instagram post that she gained a total of 9kg.
