At the age of 41, Gong Yoo never takes for granted his youthful look and amazing body, even though we seldom see his figure unless it is for his acting projects and editorial shoots.

This time, the actor's secret of his perfect well-toned abs is spilled by a recent interview with his trainer on Allure, wherein pictures of Gong Yoo showing off his gorgeous muscles.

According to his good friend and personal trainer, Gong Yoo hits the gym every day and would do all the routines assigned to him, spending approximately three hours. As the trainer said fondly, "I see Gong Yoo many times more than my mother. Is anyone envious with that?"

The personal trainer shared in the video that Gong Yoo concentrates on a full-body workout to get a balanced shape. Each time the actor is doing or preparing for a special project or show, Gong Yoo would visit the gym twice a day.

Gong Yoo's fitness trainer showed as well each type of exercise and how to execute them properly. Using the right equipment and posture, the actor's workout routine includes chest presses, bench presses that go both with incline and decline, and the dip machine.Ever since his past interviews, Gong Yoo always shows the best of his acting and healthy living whenever needed. The actor explains that he loves sports and fitness; thus, he refrains from drinking and chooses to live a diligent and upright life.

In addition, the fitness trainer also complimented how humble and down-to-earth Gong Yoo is. The actor is dedicated to everything he does and even the food that he eats, Gong Yoo looks after and checks with him from time to time.

While maintaining his weight, Gong Yoo chooses his meal properly, as the actor would opt for simple but healthy meals, such as chicken breast, sweet potatoes, and mixed vegetables.

At times, the actor prefers to cook his food and diet with very little oil and uses seasonings mildly. Gong Yoo also creates balance in his diet by having his own cheat day, but rather than indulging in anything. He would call and check with his trainer before throwing all on his plate.

In one of his interviews with the Straits Times, Gong Yoo is accustomed to his 17 years of routine, and that is keeping away from salt in any food. And as mentioned aside from exercise and sports, the actor indulges in listening to music as well.

Gong Yoo confirmed his appearance in the Netflix originals series "The Sea of Silence" in character as a soldier. Will this maybe one of the reasons for his great fit. After three years, we can finally witness Gong Yoo on-screen in one of his best performances as always.
