Lee Dong Wook is a Handsome Gumiho in Upcoming Fantasy Drama "Tale of The Nine-Tailed"
tvN's "Tale of The Nine-Tailed" released new still photos of Lee Dong Wook in his new role as a legendary gumiho.
The new series is an urban story fantasy drama about a male gumiho named Lee Yeon, played by Lee Dong Wook, a legendary gumiho who settled in the city and transformed into a human being. He plans to clean and eliminate troubled human spirits while doing so creates mystery and destruction.
Lee Yeon has everything, from wealth and good looks to extraordinary intelligence. He travels from between two worlds to punish creatures that cause chaos to the living world. While staying in the city and in a human form he gets entangled by love with humans that he will soon have trouble getting out.
In the first day of filming of "Tale of The Nine-Tailed", the set appears to be in a wedding wherein Lee Dong Wook is engaged in a fight scene.
Lee Dong Wook looks sexy and handsome clad in a black suit and in action to stop men that create havoc in the event.
The first day of shooting unveils Lee Dong Wook's fighting skills ability with the other cast. According to the actor, there were a lot of action scenes and computer graphics involved which gives him challenges in his body movement and with the different sequences to consider.
The actor was grateful with the director, martial arts director, the action team and all the crew who helped with the action scenes. They were able to overcome and succeed with the action scenes from the production effort in thorough preparations.
Lee Dong Wook felt happy and gained self-confidence after completing the difficult scenes. He shared that with all the hard work and the crew's effort he gained trust, that in the coming scenes, all will be handled as he trusts the people on set and will always rely on the crew's effort to help him.
As for the production team, a source commented, "We are all grateful to have Lee Dong Wook in character as Lee Yeon. He works hard to immerse in the role of a gumiho and did his own research to better portray Lee Yeon. We are proud and we all invite you to watch Lee Dong Wook's performance in "Tale of the Nine-Tailed."
tvN's "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" will air in October together with his co-stars Jo Bo Ah as the determined producer who is eager to know more of Lee Yeon and Kim Bum in his role as Lee Rang, the dangerous-wicked-gumiho and stepbrother of Lee Yeon.
