Suzy Donates a Huge Amount of Money for Children Affected by COVID-19

Superstar Suzy is indeed helpful and incredibly generous.

Babo Nanum Foundation announced that kind-hearted celebrity Suzy had contributed the amount of 50 million won (approximately USD 42,100) to the "Stars Filled with Dreams" campaign, which focuses on helping children reach their dream, starting with their education.

It was revealed that Suzy was feeling worried and deeply concerned by how the current health crisis is negatively affecting the young and innocent ones who are already facing financial difficulties. So as her request, her donations will all be used to give out educational support to the youth who are in low-income households.

Suzy hopes that through her kind gesture, the children would have a chance to continue pursuing their dreams and have a better future.

Throughout her career, the singer and actress have made an effort to help those who are less fortunate through her support and financial aid to numerous charitable causes. Just this year alone, the celebrity has been very generous in helping through her charitable works. She previously donated 100 million won (approximately $84,200) to the NGO Good Neighbors to aid those who belong in low-income families affected by the current crisis we are facing (COVID-19 pandemic), 100 million won to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to help those who were badly devastated by the flood and another million won to the Taekwondo Federation of Happiness Sharing Community.

Her kind gesture doesn't stop here, just recently Suzy has pledged to donate all of her proceeds from her beauty book "Obsession with Suzy" to help the young woman in need.

Suzy was born on October 10, 1994, and was born in Buk District, Gwangju, South Korea. She was a member of the girl group Miss A under JYP Entertainment. Later on, the Miss A member made her debut as an actress through the school-themed drama Dream High (2011).

Following her debut as an actress, she has appeared in numerous series such as as Gu Family Book (2013), Uncontrollably Fond (2016), While You Were Sleeping (2017), and Vagabond (2019). She also graced the big screen through the movie Architecture 101 (2012).

Before her debut in the entertainment industry, Suzy was once an online shopping model. After she appeared in Architecture 101, she was dubbed as the "Nation's first love".

Because of her talent and hard work, Suzy became one of the most sought-after endorsers in South Korea and has been crowned as the "CF Queen" due to her over pouring endorsements ranging from clothes, apparel, cosmetics, and even basic commodities like sugar. You can see her face as the brand ambassador of almost all products in South Korea.

In 2013, the superstar made more than 10 billion won with garnering more than 14 endorsement deals in one year.
