We've seen it all: actors portraying this and that while clad in uniforms or casual clothes, but it never fails to make us go "aww" when our favorite Korean actor plays as a loving father onscreen! 

Specifically, these actors below are single in real life but, considering their versatility, they impressively portrayed good dads in dramas and films.

Let's take a look at these characters and how they stole the hearts of the viewers with their father material aura.

Gong Yoo 

Gong Yoo may be a bachelor, but with his warm visual and great personality, he has splendidly played numerous roles being a father one to being surrounded by children. He's such a very good candidate to be the best daddy material, don't you think?

Gong Yoo acted as a loving father in his role as Jung Dae Hyun to his daughter played by Ryu Ayoung in the movie "Kim Ji Young: Born 1982" (2019). He posted pictures of the baby through his SNS and netizens loved Gong Yoo even more. 

He also played as a father who saved his child from his last breath in the movie "Train To Busan" (2016).

Kang Dong Won

He played his first father character in the movie "My Brilliant Life" (2014) with Song Hye Kyo. It's a heartwarming story of a child who suffers from congenital progeria (gets old faster than others).

According to the actor, he had struggled with releasing emotions, especially when he is still single and the character is required deep connections, but the viewers complimented him for his brilliant performance.

Lee Dong Wook

Lee Dong Wook instantlt captivates women with his gorgeous visual, what's more when he's being a good dad to his child onscreen?

Lee Dong Wook played a doting father in the drama "The Fugitive of Joseon" (2013). He is a physician and becomes a fugitive after being plotted to kill the crown prince. He is determined to save his ill daughter and live a peaceful life.

So Ji Sub

The actor is known for his good looks and masculine persona, yet So Ji Sub played a heartwarming father in the movie "Be With You" (2018).

So Ji Sub had warm chemistry with Kim Ji Hwan, who played as his son, while drawing sweet affection with co-star Son Ye Jin.

Kim Ji Seok

He has a solid acting ability and with great looks as well. Kim Ji Seok transformed into a father in the award-winning drama "When Camellia Blooms" (2019).

He played the role of a father to Kim Kang Hoon, though it was a challenge when he tried to get close with his son after being away with him. 

Child actor Kim Kang Hoon expressed his gratitude to Kim Ji Seok, "He took care of me like his child."
