“Kairos” Reveals Mysterious New Character Posters for Shin Sung Rok, Lee Se Young, Ahn Bo Hyun, and More!
Set to be released soon on October 26, 2020, "Kairos" will explore time travel through a thrilling fantastical concept as Kim Seo Jin (Shin Sung Rok) falls into despair after his daughter is kidnapped. With the help of Han Ae Ri (played by Lee Se Young), who searches for her missing mother and exists a month behind Kim Seo Jin's present timeline, they struggle across time to save their loved ones. "Kairos" takes over MBC's Monday & Tuesday 21:30 time slot previously occupied by "Dinner Mate."
On October 7, MBC released character posters for the lead cast of Kairos. In Shin Sung Rok's poster, he portrays a father in despair, looking helpless as he's on the phone with someone. The caption reads, "Han Ae Ri, you will save my life, and I will save yours."
In Lee Se Young's poster, she portrays the absolute determination of a woman working three jobs to make a living. She reaches out to the mysterious man in the future to find her missing mother as well as help him, and her caption reads, "We will save each other."
The handsome Ahn Bo Hyun plays Seo Do Kyun, Kim Seo Jin's right-hand man at his company. He is revered and admired by his boss, but faults start appearing soon in the word that's assigned to him. His poster, which shows half his face illuminated and a half in the dark, which hints at a more mysterious than was first assumed, and his caption reads, "I will return everything as it was. Absolutely."
Nam Gyu Ri plays Kang Hyun Chae, Kim Seo Jin's wife, Kim Da Bin (Shim Hye Yeon). Her poster shows the pain and heartbreak of a mother who has lost her child, and the caption reads, "I don't have the confidence to go on living without Da Bin."
WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon plays Im Gun Wook, Han Ae Ri's loyal and reliable assistant who will do anything for her. His caption reads, "I won't let anything happen to you, so don't worry!"
