"Gamsung Camping" Starts Airing at 1.79% Viewer Rating
JTBC's "Gamsung Camping", first aired on the 13th of October in Korea, is a real variety show where Park Narae, Ahn Young Mi, Park So Dam, MAMAMOO Solar, and Son Naeun spend a fun camping time visiting different camping grounds in South Korea.
When the camping members arrived in Namhae, which readily gave off a Swiss atmosphere, they first toured the ranch and found the marina, showing off their costumes. Upon arriving at the marina, the first guest, Song Seung Heon, appeared. Song Seung Heon brought warmth and familiarity by calling himself the driver and porter.
In this episode, Song Seung Heon boasted of a humorous comic hidden behind the image of 'The Original Sculpture Handsome' and made the performers laugh. Also, he mentioned Kang Su Ji, the original music industry fairy, as his long-time ideal type, and even sang a sweet song to make the camping atmosphere warm.
The honest stories of the five camping members were also revealed. Park So Dam, who is now starring in the mega-hit K-Drama 'Record of Youth', confessed, "I'm curious about the rest of my sisters. I think I was trying to do something even on a day off," and confessed, "I thought I didn't know how to rest yet."
Park Na Rae explained, "I take a break by being with good people," and "Calling people to the house seems to have something to do with rest, that's what the surroundings say, but I don't know how to relieve stress by myself."
Ahn Young Mi said, "If it was like before, I would have run only looking ahead," and said, "I had never enjoyed shooting outdoors until now, but I was so happy today. It was difficult because we were not able to do something, of course." She continued by saying that, "I debuted at the age of 24, and my dream was to be a flight attendant," adding that, "At the time of our debut, it was really hard, and at the time, the members and we tried a lot of saying, 'Let's show a success."She poured out her heart and even shed tears.
Son Naeun, who also debuted early, also shared her grievances. She said, "The manager and my parents always took care of me. I thought it was natural, but now I see that there is nothing I can do on my own," she said. "I have the heart to change myself through this opportunity."
From the first broadcast, 'Gamsung Camping' covered the growth period of other camping programs successfully. According to the audience rating research company Nielsen Korea on the 14th, it recorded an audience rating of 1.79% and announced a smooth start.
