NU’EST Minhyun, VICTON Byungchan, and Noh Jong Hyun to Portray Student Characters in “Live On”
The upcoming mini-series of JTBC network titled "Live On" has released some sneak peek of their casts, which includes NU'EST's Minhyun, VICTON's Byunchan, and Noh Jong Hyun!
The mini-series "Live On" romantic drama that is positioned in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. South Korean actress Jung Da Bin will portray the character of Baek Ho Rang, the most popular girl in school and social media celebrity and influencer. She will then enter the club for suspicious motives.
Meanwhile, NU'EST's Minhyun will portray Go Eun Taek, the club leader, with a strict and perfectionist personality. On the other hand, Noh Jong Hyun will take the role of Do Woo Jae, an overly organized gentle guy who is the close friend of Go Eun Taek. Another cast in the drama is kpop star Byungchan who will play as Kim Yoo Shin, an organized gentleman close friends with Go Eun Taek, and Byungchan stars as Kim Yoo Shin, a friendly, cheerful, innocent guy.
The three characters of the drama are seen standing in a bright and shiny room, and when the blurry screen becomes clear, their wide smiles are captured by the camera, and they're making an eye to eye contact with their viewers. JTBC also shared a short video captured by Yeonwoo, who portrays the character of Kang Jae Yi, who introduces the actors who are all in character.
Kim Yoo Shin showcased his charming persona in the video while Do Woo Jae showed his calm aura as he agreed with Kang Jae Yi to go to a store together. Go Eun Taek's icy cold personality was also featured in the video, where he exclaimed that Kang Jae Yi is not permitted to go in the broadcast room and forces her to stop filming.
"Live On" is scheduled to premiere on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST will soon be available on Viki.

South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor Hwang Min Hyun was born on August 9, 1995. He is famously known as Minhyun. The celebrity was scouted by South Korean entertainment agency Pledis Entertainment when he was only 15 years old. Minhyun underwent two years of training and was a member of the boy group NU'EST in 2012.
Byungchan debuted with the boy group VICTON back in 2016. He became the group's visual and vocalist. The kpop star was originally the group's maknae until Subin was introduced as the last edition to the lineup.
Lastly, South Korean actor Noh Jong-hyun was born on January 16, 1993. The 27-year-old actor started his career in the entertainment industry through the 2017 romantic comedy Because This Is My First Life, where he portrayed the female lead's little brother'ss little brother. His next project was in the OCN's miniseries "Short," where he gained recognition for his amazing performance as the youngest detective of the team in Life on Mars. The said drama was adapted from the British television series of the same name.
