Young Tak (Lee Byung Hun) acts as a leader for the residents of the Hwanggoong residents and protects the residents from outsiders. Min Sung (Park Seo Joon) is a public officer picked by Young Tak to be a helper. Myeong Hwa (Park Bo Young) is Min Sung's wife and a nurse who tends to the injured.
