On the 27th of October 2020, Ryu Jun-yeol announced the news of his first-ever photo exhibition 'Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood' on his personal Instagram page.

The photo exhibition will be held from November 3rd of 2020 to November 22nd of 2020 at Hyundai Card Design Library in Jongno-gu. Reservations will be open on the DIVE app from 11 AM KST on the 30th of October 2020. Admission to see the photo exhibition is free.

The photo exhibition, named after Quentin Tarantino's film "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood'' of the same name, features 17 street photography works taken by Ryu Jun-yeol himself during his trip to the United States in 2019.

As can be seen through the pictures in the posters released by Ryu Jun-yeol, photographs that capture the feelings and vibes evoked by the streets of the United States of the 1960s and 1970s are expected to be exhibited like scenes in a movie in this photo exhibition.

Ryu Jun-yeol, who is known to enjoy taking pictures, said in an interview with the magazine 'Grazia' in October of last year that, "I don't go on a trip to take pictures these days, but I'm going on a trip to take pictures this time." He showed a special interest in photography and shared that it was his dream to become a photographer. With this photo exhibition, Ryu Jun Yeol has finally realized his long-standing dream and has made his debut as a street photographer.

Ryu Jun-yeol is a South Korean actor. He gained popularity through his breakthrough role in the television series Reply 1988 (2015-2016). Known as a prolific Chungmu-ro actor, since then, he has starred in the box-office hit films The King (2017), A Taxi Driver (2017), Believer (2018), Money (2019), The Battle: Roar to Victory (2019).

Ryu first drew attention for his performance in his debut feature, Social phobia, in 2015. Still, it wasn't until later that year that Ryu gained widespread public recognition through starring in the popular teen series Reply 1988, alongside Lee Hye-ri, Park Bo-gum, Go Kyung-Pyo and Lee Dong-hwi. His portrayal of one of the leads, Kim Jung-hwan, won him many accolades, including the Best New Actor in TV award at the 52nd Baeksang Arts Awards in 2016. n 2017, Ryu featured in the political crime drama film The King, which became the 7th highest-grossing South Korean film of the year and for which he won the Best New Actor in Film award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.

The same year, he featured in the biopic A Taxi Driver, which became the highest-grossing Korean film of the year and the twelfth highest-grossing South Korean film in history. In 2018, Ryu featured in the critically acclaimed drama film Little Forest [20] and headlined the Believer crime action film. The believer was a box-office hit, becoming the first Korean film to surpass five million admissions in 2018. It was the fourth highest-grossing film of the year in South Korea. By now, Ryu Jun Yeol had established his status as one of the top Hallyu Stars in South Korea.

Ryu Jun Yeol is also set to headline Choi Dong-hoon's upcoming two-part sci-fi crime film series, Alien (working title). Filming for the same began on March 28, 2020, and fans are highly eager for this release.
