Kim Ji Hoon Issues Apology For Watching An Illegally Downloaded TV Show
"Flower of Evil" actor Kim Ji Hoon issued an apology after he was seen watching an illegally downloaded show in the TV program "Home Alone."
In the Nov. 6 episode of the TV program "Home Alone," actor Kim Ji Hoon was spotted watching the American TV show "Raised by Wolves." This show is an American science fiction drama television series that is broadcasted exclusively by the famous streaming platform HBO Max. Since HBO Max is not available in South Korea, there is no way to watch the show in the said country legally. In addition to this, Kim Ji Hoon was seen watching the version of the show that had Korean subtitles, which made viewers even more suspicious that it was really an illegal download.
The actor issued his statement through his agency, Big Picture Entertainment; he expressed his apology stating, "Hello, this is Kim Ji Hoon. First and foremost, I would like to say that I am deeply sorry for causing viewers discomfort in the Nov. 6 episode of MBC's "Home Alone." I apologize for my behavior of not respecting the copyright law despite the fact that I am a public figure. Rest assured that in the future, I will work harder to be an actor who is more careful about his actions. Once again, I am really sorry for causing everyone discomfort."
"Home Alone" quickly responded to this issue, and a source stated that the show will take out all footage of Kim Ji Hoon watching the show from reruns and VOD, and they will be more attentive in observing the cast members' behavior while filming.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Hoon's latest project was the tvN drama series "Flower Of Evil," where he starred alongside two other talented actors, Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won. The drama centers its story on a man with an inability to feel emotion named Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi) and his wife Cha Ji Won(Moon Chae Won), a police detective working on a serial murder case. Then things begin to shift when the wife starts to suspect that her husband might be the culprit.
However, in the latter part of the drama, viewers were shocked to discover that the male lead Lee Joon Gi was actually using a false identity! His real name was Do Hyun Soo. This is where the character of Kim Ji Hoon enters, as the real Baek Hee Sung in the drama. The show began to take even more dramatic twists as the real Baek Hee Sung appears with his psychopathic nature.
A lot of netizens have become a new fan of actor Kim Ji Hoon with his stunning acting skills in the said drama series.
South Korean actor Kim Ji-hoon was born on May 9, 1981. He is widely recognized for his romantic comedies on television such as "The Golden Age of Daughters-in-Law" (2007), "Love Marriage" (also known as "Matchmaker's Lover," (2008), "Stars Falling from the Sky" (also known as "Wish Upon a Star," 2010), and "My Cute Guys" (2012).
