'True Beauty' Releases Charming New Still Cuts Of Eunwoo As Lee Suho
tvN has released another fresh set of stills from the upcoming romantic comedy-drama based on the webtoon of the same name, "True Beauty." This time, the network released Cha Eunwoo's stills, an actor from ASTRO who plays the tsundere type's lead role, Lee Su Ho.
The story of "True Beauty" is about self-discovery and self-love before anything else. Im Joo-Kyeong is a high school student. Since she was little, she has had an inferiority complex about her appearance. With that, she is hiding her bare face by wearing makeup. Her excellent makeup skills make her pretty, and she hides her face in front of others. She gets involved with two men, Lee Su Ho and Han Seo-Joon.
Moon Ga Young is all set to play the role of Im Joo Kyeong. Cha Eunwoo will play Lee Su Ho, and Han Seo Joon will be played by Hwang In Yeop. Lee Su Ho has a dark past, and when he meets Joo Kyeong, both their lives start improving for the better. A lovely love triangle also awaits us!
In the series' first trailer, Im Joo Kyeong is in her element with her bare face, without makeup, as she's fiddling with her phone. Suddenly while deleting a few of her bare-faced pictures, she uploads them accidentally on SNS. The one thing she's most conscious of is her bare face. Otherwise, she's a goddess with her makeup skills. When her bare face gets leaked by herself, chaos takes over.
Her personality stays hidden behind her makeup, and no one knows or gets to know who she is deep inside. The drama will bring out the confidence in Im Joo Kyeong as she navigates the road to love and life.
In this recently released trailer, Moon Ga Young's character Joo Kyeong says, "I'm Lim Joo Kyeong, a goddess. That is, until I take off my makeup." Her online appearance is flawless, but I the hallways at school, she bumps into Eunwoo's character's back, and her makeup is left imprinted on it.
The drama will be based on the webcomic "Yeoshingangrim" by Yaongyi (published on April 2, 2018, by Naver Webtoon Company).It is set to premiere on tvN in December 2020 and available for worldwide streaming through Rakuten VIKI.
Lee Dongmin, professionally known as Cha Eunwoo (차은우), is a South Korean singer, actor, and model under the label of Fantagio. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Astro.
Astro debuted on February 23, 2016, with the mini-album Spring Up. In August, Cha participated in the Chuseok special variety show, Replies That Make Us Flutter. In September, he participated in another Chuseok pilot program, Boomshakalaka.
In 2019, Cha starred in the historical drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung alongside Shin Se-kyung. In 2019 MBC Drama awards, Cha Eunwoo won Excellence Award for an Actor and Best Couple Award with Shin Se-Kyung.In July 2019, it was announced that Cha Eunwoo will be having his first fan meeting across Asia titled, "Just One 10 Minute" in October. In December 2019, Cha Eun-woo was announced as a cast member of the new variety show, Handsome Tigers, alongside Joy, Lee Sang-Yoon, Yoo Seon-ho, and Seo Jang-hoon. In the K-pop Radar Year-End Chart, Cha Eunwoo was named "2019 Hot Instagrammer - Male."
In April 2020, Cha joined Master in the House as a fixed cast member.In late 2020, Cha is set to star as the male lead in the tvN drama True Beauty, based on the same name's webtoon. He will portray Lee Su-ho, a "perfect man" who pays no attention to others.
