Past Girlfriends of Your Favorite Korean Actors Who Used to be Their Leading Ladies
These K-Drama "oppas'" past girlfriends are famous actresses, too!
In the acting industry, it is not impossible that K-Drama celebrities will eventually fall in love while working with their co-starring artists, given the time and passion that they both exerted while working on their projects.
Among them, these four actors who we love the most used to date their female lead actress as well, and it's a bittersweet story of how they met and broke up.
These Korean actors and actresses are former couples:
1. Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young
The "City Hunter" couple Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young used to date when they worked for the said drama in 2011.
The whole entertainment industry was truly surprised as it was the first announced official girlfriend of the actor since he rose to popularity.
After numerous speculations, both agencies of the artists confirmed their relationship, but after dating for five months since confirmation, Min Ho and Min Young parted ways in 2012.
According to their agencies, the reason why the two ended their relationship was because of their busy schedules and due to pressure from the media and netizens.
2. Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo
The "Crash Landing on You" actor Hyun Bin actually dated Song Hye Kyo back in 2008!
In particular, the two began dating after co-starring for a Korean drama titled, "World Within," and as the drama contained several romantic and intimate scenes, they eventually fell in love with each other off-cam.
But after publicly dating for two years, the two ended their relationship earlier before Hyun Bin served in the military.
3. Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung
One of the most loved couples in the entertainment scene were Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung, who confirmed to begin dating in 201 after wrapping up their drama in 2016.
According to reports, they have been good friends since they were still models, and initially worked together for "Cheese in the Trap." They, later on, starred in the drama, "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo," where they developed their feelings naturally.
Not only the media supported the couple, but fans and netizens were also expecting their reel-to-real relationship.
However, after months of dating, reports claimed that they broke up without disclosing the reason.
4. Lee Joon Gi and Jeon Hye Bin
In 2014, Lee Joon Gi and Jeon Hye Bin are the main stars of the drama "Gunman in Joseon." They were reported dating in 2017, but their relationship was said to be two years already before confirmation.
Reports also say that since 2014, they have been meeting as good friends and colleagues, and as they gradually turned into lovers.
However, in the same year, it was confirmed that they broke up due to busy schedules.
