tvN's ongoing romance mystery drama "Awaken" released new stills featuring Lee Chung Ah's distrust towards Namgoong Min.
The drama will involve mind games, puzzles, and some creepy twists! tvN's latest crime thriller, "Awaken," may have gotten off to a slow and predictable start, but it has since hit its pace and had injected us some excitement. Now, we are anticipating a more interesting drama ahead with lots and lots of lollipops!
"Awaken" is a romantic murder-mystery drama that follows the association between a mysterious event occurring in the present day and the secrets behind an enigmatic incident in a village almost three decades ago (28 years to be exact).

Actor Namgoong Min portrays Do Jung Woo, the mysterious but smart head of a special task force at the National Police Agency. AOA's Seolhyun on the other hand portrays the character of a passionate police officer named Gong Hye Won. Another cast is Lee Chung Ah, who takes on Jamie's role, an FBI agent who is an adopted child that came back to Korea to uncover the serial killer case that caused her to lose her childhood memories 28 years in the past.

The viewers were shocked by what occurred in the previous episode of the drama. Do Jung Woo was surprisingly identified as a suspect in the serial murder case. The special task force uncovered some similarities with the four murder victims. They all lack the instinct to escape death, and they have smiles on their faces right before their lives were taken. However, the team has yet to discover the crucial clue that will lead them to the killer.
The new episode will follow the task force team to prevent the fifth murder from happening. The newly released stills showcase the task force members altogether gathered in one place having their meeting after they received the fifth warning message from the murderer.
