‘2 days and 1 Night’ Season 4 Celebrates their First Anniversary + PD Shares Thoughts about Kim Seon Ho
The famous variety-reality show "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4" just turned one year, so the producing director (PD) Bang Geul Yi shared her thoughts about her experiences during the past year with the show!
The reality show's cast celebrated the first anniversary of the show last Dec. 8. Their producing director, Bang Geul Yi, also expressed her gratitude to all the loyal viewers of the show. She stated that this year (2020) was quite hard in many ways. However, she feels very blessed that they were able to run the show continuously without having to take a break. There may be unavoidable moments where the cast and crew would feel tired but the viewers who support and anticipate the show at the same time every week gave encouragement that made them successfully reach their first anniversary.
The PD then shared her thoughts with regards to what makes the current season of "2 Days & 1 Night" different from its previous seasons. She expressed that most of the cast are beginners, which makes it their first time to be in a reality-variety show. For her, what set this season apart was the way you get to witness the members growing and improving in various ways. For example Kim Jong Min's unending growth as "the intermittent ace" rather than being the "exciting fool" image.

Then, the PD was asked to point out the cast member who she thinks has improved the most since they first met, the PD then answered "Kim Seon Ho." She said that he is the cast member who has changed the most in the past year, in a good way. "He had improved a lot," the PD said. "At first, he was feeling shy or hesitating. However, as the show progresses, he slowly started letting his natural side show through.
Currently, it is also noticeable how Kim Seon Ho is having so much fun during filming, and the PD is happy to this side of him. "I was looking forward to seeing it from the start," she added.

With regards to what she considered as the most difficult challenge she faced through the year, the Bang Geul Yi shared, without a doubt, the current coronavirus pandemic difficulties. However, she also considers the hardest thing for her as the producing director of the show was the "Magnificent Vacation" episode that was filmed during the rainy season. Because of the bad rainy weather, they spent the whole day running around trying to make Plan B and C possible and responding to the rainy situation.
Lastly, PD Bang Geul Yi expressed that she is very grateful that the cast members of the show are really sincere in what they do. The viewers will be able to immerse and enjoy the show altogether. The viewers will be able to find out the member's different charms in the show. The production is asking everyone to anticipate the show's 1st-anniversary project.
