Lee Jae Wook and Kim Hye Yoon Had a Great Time Filming With the ‘True Beauty’ Cast
Newly released behind-the-scenes stills of tvN's romantic comedy-drama "True Beauty" is out! It also features the clips of Lee Jae Wook and Kim Hye Yoon during and after filming their cameo appearance on the said drama.
After airing the 4th episode of the drama "True Beauty" on Dec. 17, viewers are happy to see Lee Jae Wook and Kim Hye Yoon together as they portrayed the characters from their previous drama, "Extraordinary You." The video started with Kim Hye Yoon introducing herself to the viewers, "Hello! I am Kim Hye Yoon, and I have come back as Eun Dan Oh in 'True Beauty.'" Actor Lee Jae Wook sincerely greets the audience as well.
In the next clip, the two are caught rehearsing with the same level of energy and relationship from their previous drama. The 24-year-old actress Kim Hye Yoon expressed her feelings towards being on set again, which brings back the memories of their "Extraordinary You" shooting days. She enjoyed and really had fun filming a short yet entertaining scene from the drama. Kim Hye Yoon also added, "it's good to be back on set, and I was happy to be able to work again with Lee Jae Wook."
On the other hand, Lee Jae Wook was also seen having fun while doing the scene with Kim Hye Yoon. He warmly shared, "It really feels refreshing to be back on set again, where most of the staff members here were also the same people we have worked with before in 'Extraordinary You.'" Lee Jae Wook also added, "It has been almost a year since the drama (Extraordinary You) ended, but I was genuinely happy to see everyone again, and I really enjoyed this opportunity to film again."
Actress Moon Ga Young sits beside her friend Kim Hye Yoon while they are on break from filming. They even made a heart sign in front of the camera. Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon jokingly shared that they should pretend to hate each other. Moon Ga Young did not expect what her friend just said to her and shockingly stares at Kim Hye Yoon, which makes her burst into laughter.
Both Kim Hye Yoon and Moon Ga Young were actually close friends. They were born in the same year (1996). Moon Ga Young proudly and adorably said, "We are actually close!," pointing her finger to the "Extraordinary You" actress who's sitting beside her.
Lee Jae Wook and Kim Hye Yoon are continuously practicing their scene where she suddenly sprints away searching for her true love Haru, which was played by SF9's Rowoon in their previous drama. The broken-hearted Lee Jae Wook lowers his head and stumbles, walking towards the exit that makes everyone on the set laugh at his natural and humorous reaction.
After filming all the scenes, Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jae Wook were interviewed by the 'True Beauty' production team. She said, "I was able to come on the set of 'True Beauty' for a short period of time, and I think the scene will come out nicely." Her on-screen partner Lee Jae Wook also expressed, "We had a lot of fun filming, and I hope the viewers will also enjoy watching this drama."
Before leaving the set, Lee Jae Wook and Kim Hye Yoon took a group photo together with Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, and the director of the drama Kim Sang Hyun who were very grateful to work again with Jae Wook and Hye Yoon.
"True Beauty" airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 p.m (KST).
